A Dacor range combines a cooktop with one or two ovens, and the line includes gas, dual-fuel and electric versions. Professional and Heritage ranges are the current style, while Renaissance, Millennia and Epicure ranges are still working in many Houston kitchens. Each has its own igniters, valves, elements, sensors and controls.

Gas odor near my range: what now?
Shut off the burners, open windows and step outside. Avoid switches and flames. Phone your gas utility from outside. Once the home is safe, call us to inspect the range, though gas line work goes to a licensed plumber.
Why is one side of my baking darker?
Uneven baking can come from a worn element, a failing fan, a door seal that has loosened or a temperature sensor that reads wrong. We test each of those before we replace anything.
My range is 20 years old. Can it be repaired?
