The Dacor HGR30P is a Heritage 30-inch professional-style gas range with a 5.2 cubic foot oven and three-part convection. Burner ratings are 18,000 BTU for one, 15,000 BTU for two, and 9,500 BTU for the fourth. It is sold as HGR30PS/NG for natural gas and HGR30PS/LP for liquid propane.

It is the small simmer burner, handy for low heat. When it will not hold a low flame, we clean its ports and check how the flame behaves at that setting.
Is the HGR30P different from the HGR30PS?
They are close numbers in the same Heritage family. The PS ending appears on the NG and LP versions, so the label on your range decides which parts we order.
My oven is slow to light. Is that serious?
It is usually a weakening igniter and a modest repair. We test it along with the gas flow, and the part is quoted in writing before we replace it.
