What does a self-test alarm on the PCS130 tell us?
It tells us the control found a problem, but not which part has failed. We use it as a starting point, then test the sensor, wiring and control directly.
My oven runs hotter than the setting. What should I do?
Stop using it for baking and call us. A sensor that reads low, or a relay that stays closed, can cause overheating, and we test both with the power off.
