MORD230
Dacor MORD230 Millennia Renaissance Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Lower oven latch and lock
- Overheating in a cooking mode
- Keypad or control membrane wear
- Upper and lower cavity sensors
The MORD230 comes from Dacor’s Millennia Renaissance MOR series, a double wall oven 30 inches across. It was discontinued, and you may see it as the MORD230S. Millennia Renaissance ovens sit in the older Dacor group that we see most often from owners who would like to keep the oven they have.
Each cavity reports its own status, labeled for the upper and the lower oven, so we can tell which side is complaining before we open anything. On an oven like this one, we look at the lower latch and lock, at an oven that overheats in a cooking mode, and at a control membrane that has worn through. After that we test each cavity’s sensor.
Replacement parts for this line have thinned out, so the data label’s model and serial decide what we can order. We tell you what we find, quote the work on paper and speak up early when an older oven is past saving.

Error codes this model can show
What does the upper or lower label on my oven display mean?
It shows which cavity reported the problem. We use it to decide where to start, then verify with tests, because the label alone does not prove which part has failed.
My lower oven door will not unlock. What do I do?
Wait for the cavity to cool and leave the door alone. Our test covers the lock motor, the switch and the control, since any of them can keep the lock engaged.
Is a worn control membrane repairable?
Sometimes the keypad membrane can be replaced alone. We check availability first, and if the whole control is needed we tell you the price before going ahead.
