EO130
Dacor EO130 Single Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Relay that fails to send power for baking
- Latch motor wear after self-clean
- Oven light socket and lamp
- Door gasket and hinge condition
Long discontinued, the EO130 is a 30-inch single wall oven in Dacor’s Discovery EO series. It comes in several finishes, including EO130SCH, EO130SBR and EO130SBC. Because its installation is shared with Dacor’s MOH and MOV series ovens, a replacement part or a swap often has to be matched carefully to the exact number.
Three checks come first on an oven like this: a relay that no longer closes, which leaves the oven unable to bake, a latch motor tired from years of self-clean cycles, and an oven light socket that has burned or loosened. Each one is a smaller repair than replacing the oven, and we test before we recommend a part.
Parts for an oven this old are not always on the shelf. The label’s model and serial tell us which part to look for, and you see a written price before work begins. When replacing the oven makes more sense, we say that too.

Why won't my EO130 bake but the broiler works?
The bake element and the relay that feeds it are separate from the broiler, so a dead relay can stop baking only. We test the relay, the element and the sensor to see which one has failed.
The latch will not release after self-clean. Is that serious?
It is common on ovens with many years of cleaning cycles. We test the latch motor and the lock switch. Let the oven cool completely before anyone tries the door.
My EO130 is the same as an MOV or MOH. Can I use their parts?
Some are shared and some are not. We confirm the exact number from the label before ordering, because a wrong trim or latch will not fit even when the cutout is the same.
