The ECS230 is a 30-inch double electric wall oven, part of Dacor’s Epicure Classic Wall Oven group. Thirty inches is the usual cutout for a double oven, and the lower oven sits low enough that its door takes steady use and wear.

My lower oven door feels loose. Is that part of the repair?
A loose door usually means a worn hinge or a spring. Because the lower door carries heavy use, we inspect both hinges and the latch, and we quote the hinge parts on their own.
Why does convection seem weaker than it used to?
We check whether the fan spins freely and at the right speed, whether the third element glows, and whether the sensor is steady. A fan motor that has slowed with age is common on older ovens.
