PO230
Dacor PO230 Double Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Availability of trim and keypads for your finish
- Latch wear
- Heating element condition
- Sensor readings in each cavity
Dacor’s Discovery PO series, Preference group, includes the PO230, a double wall oven 30 inches wide. It came in several finishes, including PO230AG, PO230BK and PO230BU, and the single-oven version is the PO130. This model is discontinued, but many remain in service.
Finish matters on this oven more than on most. Trim pieces and keypads can be specific to a finish, so a part for the black oven may not fit one of another color. That is why we read the full number from the label first. Beyond that, we check the latches, which wear after many cleaning cycles, the heating elements and each cavity’s sensor.
Parts for older Preference ovens can be hard to find, and we say so up front. You get a written price once we know what exists, and we cover the repair for 30 days.

Do all PO230 ovens use the same keypad?
Not necessarily. Keypads and trim can be tied to the finish, so we read the complete number from the label and match the part to your oven.
What wears out first on a double oven this old?
Latches and heating elements are the usual suspects, since they work hardest and heat up most often. We test each of them in both cavities, replace only what has failed and tell you what we found.
Why are PO230 parts harder to find?
It is a discontinued, older model made in several finishes, and trim differs from one to the next. Availability gets checked first against the complete number on your label, and you are told straight if a part cannot be found.
