The MOV127 is a single electric wall oven in the Discovery series, 27 inches wide and fed by 240 volts. The 1 in the number stands for one cavity. It is the same Discovery family that includes the EO, PO and MOH numbers, so many of its cutout dimensions match theirs.
A 27-inch single oven usually sits in a built-in tower or under a counter, and its only fan is the pure convection fan, so that is a frequent check. Why is the convection fan in my MOV127 so noisy?
A worn bearing, a bent blade or a loose mount can all cause noise. We inspect the fan and replace it if the bearing is rough, since a noisy fan tends to get worse.
What does the Discovery Controller control?
It manages the oven's modes and clean cycle and shows them on the display. If it freezes or ignores a press, we test its connections and the supply.
