What C-F0 means

The code C-F0 on a current Dacor wall oven such as the DOC30M977D means communication between the Main and Sub PBA was interrupted. Those are two circuit boards inside the oven that must pass signals to each other. When the link between them drops, the oven shows C-F0 and may not carry on with the cooking mode you started. The display shows the code until the link is restored.

Common causes of C-F0

  • A connection between the two boards that is loose or damaged
  • A board that has stopped sending data
  • A power interruption that upset the link
✓ One safe check you can try

1. Press OFF, then try the oven once more. 2. If C-F0 appears again, shut off the oven's breaker for half a minute or more, then turn it on. 3. Do not open the oven housing yourself. 4. If the code keeps coming back, give us a call.

! Why to stop there
  • A broken link can come from either board or the connection between them, and we test each before replacing anything.
  • If one board is damaged, we check the other too, and you hear about it before approving the price.
  • Our 30-day workmanship warranty stands behind the repair.
Opening a panel yourself does not automatically cancel a manufacturer warranty, but it can cause accidental damage, and some manufacturers set their own service conditions. Check your warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
C-F0C-F0 questions
What does C-F0 mean on a Dacor wall oven?

The Main and Sub boards lost contact with each other. They could not exchange data for a time, so the oven puts C-F0 on its display.

Can a power flicker cause C-F0?

It might upset the link once, which is why the restart and power reset are worth trying. If C-F0 returns, the cause is probably in a board or a connection between them.

Is C-F0 different from C-F2?

Yes. C-F0 is between the Main and Sub boards, while C-F2 is between the Main board and the Touch control. Both are communication codes, but they point to different links.
