ECS130
Dacor ECS130 Single Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Keypad that shorts or beeps without starting a mode
- Oven heating past the set temperature
- Temperature sensor reading that wanders
- Clock and timer display after a power outage
The ECS130 is a discontinued 30-inch single wall oven from the classic Epicure ECS series. Owners who bought one often kept it, so the oven you have may be many years old and still cooking well. We repair it, and the ECS130SCH is the same oven in a different finish suffix.
Its ERC clock control is a single electronic board that handles the clock, the keypad and the oven’s safety checks. When the keypad shorts, the oven can beep or do nothing, and when a relay sticks, the oven can keep heating past the set temperature. If you notice either one, turn the oven off at the breaker and call us.
Testing tells us which part is the cause, and then we check whether it can still be ordered. The label’s model and serial come first, and the price is written before we pick up a tool.

What should I do if my ECS130 keeps heating past the set temperature?
Turn the oven off at the breaker and do not use it. A stuck relay or a bad sensor can both cause this, and we test them with the power off before replacing anything.
Why does the keypad on my ECS130 beep and do nothing?
A worn or shorted keypad can send a stuck key signal that the control rejects. We check the keypad and ribbon first because it is a smaller repair than the control board.
Are ERC control boards still available?
Availability varies by part. We check before you commit, and we tell you if the board cannot be found, so you do not pay for a repair that cannot be finished.
