Dacor’s Discovery iQ line included the DYO230, a 30-inch double oven that is now discontinued. Many kitchens built around it still have it, and we service these ovens. You may also see it with finish suffixes such as DYO230B, DYO230S, DYO230FS, DYO230PB or DYO230PS.
One touch display serves both ovens, and each oven has its own cancel key, so we always find out which cavity is acting up before we open anything. Green Clean, the steam-assisted light clean, may run in the upper and lower ovens together. That makes the door locks and the lower oven heating circuit the first places we look when a cycle ends badly.
If the display shows a lock message you cannot clear, or the control seems locked out, tell us what you pressed last. The data label gives us the exact model, and we look up the part before you approve a price. If an older double oven has reached the point where repair no longer pays, you will hear that from us.

Error codes this model can show
My DYO230 lower oven stays cold. Is the upper oven affected?
Not necessarily. The two cavities have their own heating parts, so we test the lower element, its relay and the sensor on that side while the upper oven keeps working. You can often keep using the upper oven meanwhile.
How do we clear the lock message after Green Clean?
Let both cavities cool first, then try the Cancel key for the affected oven. If the message returns, the latch or lock switch is not reporting properly, and we test that part with the power off.
Can both ovens run Green Clean together?
Dacor designed it that way. Running both together puts extra demand on the lock circuits, so if one door stays locked afterward, we check each lock separately instead of assuming a display problem.
