Dacor DOC30T977D Speed Oven Repair

Most common issues on this model

  1. A speed oven door switch problem that stops the microwave
  2. A cooking sensor problem
  3. A lower oven element that has failed
  4. A Wi-Fi link that will not hold

The Dacor DOC30T977D is a Transitional combination wall oven, 30 inches wide. At the top is a 1.9 cubic foot speed oven that mixes microwave and convection, and below it is a 4.8 cubic foot oven. The front has a Wi-Fi touch screen, and the supply is 240V or 208V at 40A.

The speed oven is where this model differs from a standard double oven. Because it contains a microwave, its door has switches that must all agree before the microwave starts, and a switch that has worn can stop microwave cooking while convection still works. We test those switches and the cooking sensor in the upper oven first. In the lower oven, a failed element is a more typical repair, and we test it separately from the upper cavity.

Each cavity is its own appliance with its own repairs. We use the number on the label to order, and our written price comes before work. Our 30-day workmanship warranty follows the repair.

DOC30T977DDOC30T977D questions
Why does my speed oven's microwave stop but convection works?

A worn door switch in the speed oven can stop the microwave while convection continues. We test each switch and the door alignment first, then the microwave's power parts.

Is the lower oven the same kind as the upper?

No. The upper is a speed oven that combines microwave and convection, and the lower is a standard-style oven. They are repaired separately, and we test each on its own.

How can I tell the DOC30T977D from other combination ovens?

The number is on the label, and the T in it marks the Transitional version. Parts differ between versions, so we read the full number before ordering.
