HDER30
Dacor HDER30 Heritage Pro Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Convection fan that is noisy or stops
- Oven that does not reach set temperature
- Burner that clicks without lighting
- Setup that does not match natural gas, LP or altitude
The Dacor HDER30 is a discontinued Heritage Pro range, 30 inches wide. It is sold as HDER30S in natural gas (/NG), LP (/LP), and high-altitude (/H) versions, and as HDER30C versions as well. Owners of a Heritage Pro are often unwilling to give it up while it still works.
When something stops on a Heritage Pro, we separate the oven from the cooktop. A noisy or stalled convection fan sends us to the motor and fan wheel, while an oven that never reaches its set temperature sends us to the sensor and heating parts. Burners that click without lighting are tested for ignition and cleaned. The natural gas, LP, and altitude versions burn differently, so we confirm the setup matches the supply.
The range is discontinued, so we confirm parts before the repair and tell you straight if the cost is not worth it. The data label separates the HDER30S and HDER30C.

What do the NG, LP, and H endings mean?
They are natural gas, liquid propane, and high-altitude versions of the range. The setup has to match the fuel supplied, and the label tells us before we work on the burners.
Is a Heritage Pro range worth repairing?
Often yes, because the range is well built. Parts and price are settled first, so you know the cost before committing, and we say so if a repair is not worth doing.
What is the HDER30C?
It is another version in the same family as the HDER30S. Because parts may not be identical, the label on your range decides what we order.
