What C-d0 means
The C-d0 code has two readings on Dacor ranges. On the DOP48T960G gas range, C-d0 means a malfunction of the control pad. On the DOP30T940IS induction range, it means a control key is shorted or has been held down for one minute. You see C-d0 on the display, and the buttons may not respond. Moisture, grease or a stuck key near the pad are common reasons we look at.
Common causes of C-d0
- Moisture or grease on or around the control pad
- A control key that is stuck or held down
- The touch pad or the control behind it
1. Turn the oven off. 2. Clean the buttons and the area around them, and make sure no water is on or around the pad. 3. Let everything dry, then try the controls again. 4. If C-d0 continues, call us to set up service.
- If the pad is clean and dry and C-d0 returns, the pad or its connection is the next thing we test.
- Tell us which model you have, the gas DOP48T960G or the induction DOP30T940IS, when you book.
- Our estimate is written before the repair, and the job comes with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Other Range codes
Why does C-d0 appear with no button pressed?
On the gas range it is a control pad malfunction. On the induction range, a key is shorted or has been held for a minute. Both point to the pad.
Can water cause C-d0?
Yes. Water or grease on the pad can make a key read as pressed. Turn the oven off, clean and dry the pad, and try again.
What if cleaning does not help?
Then the pad itself or the control may need repair. We test them and give you a written price first.
Still seeing C-d0?
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
