The RO130 is a 30-inch single wall oven from the early Renaissance RO series, discontinued long ago. It was sold with suffix versions such as RO130B, RO130S and RO130FS. If yours is still running, it is one of the oldest Renaissance ovens in use.
At this age, control boards are our first concern, because their solder joints and relays have been through thousands of heat cycles. We then look at the hidden bake element beneath the oven floor, which can burn through without warning. Door glass is the third check, since layers can separate on a very old oven.

What is a hidden bake element?
It sits beneath the oven floor, out of sight. When it burns through, the oven heats poorly. We test it for continuity and replace it if available.
Why would the door glass separate?
Years of heat can weaken the bond between the layers of glass. We inspect the door, explain what we see and tell you whether a replacement door piece can still be found before you decide anything.
Is a control board on a very old oven repairable?
Sometimes we can reflow solder or replace a relay on the board. If the board is beyond repair and no replacement can be found, we tell you honestly so you can plan for a new oven.
