EORS130
Dacor EORS130 Single Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Oven sensor readings
- Overheat shutdowns during baking or cleaning
- Door latch and lock during self-clean
- Relay board connections
Part of the Epicure Renaissance family, the EORS130 is a single wall oven, 30 inches across, from an older Dacor line that is now discontinued. A Renaissance oven is now an old friend in many kitchens, and we repair them. The EORS130SCH is the same oven with a finish suffix.
Its control is built around a relay board and an ERC control, which work together to switch the elements, read the sensor and manage the door lock. Most of our checks come from that relationship. A drifting sensor, a relay that sticks, or a latch that does not confirm it has locked can each cause an oven to shut down or refuse to start a clean.
Renaissance ovens are older now, and their parts have become scarce, so we find out what exists before ordering anything. The data label supplies the model and serial, the price comes in writing, and we are direct when an oven is not worth the repair.

Why does my EORS130 shut down while baking?
An overheat shutdown can come from a sensor that reads high or a relay that stays closed. We test the sensor and relay board with the power off before replacing either.
What is the relay board for?
It switches the elements and talks to the control. When a relay wears out, the oven may not bake at all or may overheat, so we inspect the relay contacts and solder joints.
The self-clean cycle will not start. What do we check?
The door must sense that it is locked. We test the latch motor and the lock switch, then the control, because a cycle will not start if the lock is not confirmed.
