The Dacor HDPR48 is a 48-inch Heritage Pro dual-fuel range with two ovens: 2.8 cubic feet on the left and 5.2 cubic feet on the right. Six gas burners reach from 15,000 to 18,000 BTU. Natural gas buyers get the HDPR48S/NG and propane buyers the HDPR48S/LP, and either needs a 240V, 50A circuit.
A 50A connection is a heavy one, and with a range this size the connection itself deserves a look. A loose or corroded connection at the range can mimic a failed oven part, so we test the supply before replacing anything. We then test the two ovens separately: the small left oven and the large right oven have their own heating parts and sensors. The gas cooktop is the last stop, where burners that click without lighting get cleaned and checked.

Why does a 50A connection matter?
A range this large draws a lot of power. A loose or corroded connection can pass for a failed element or control, so the supply is tested before any part is ordered.
Only my small oven is not heating. Is the whole range a loss?
No. The left oven has its own heating part and sensor, so it can fail alone. We test it by itself and tell you the repair cost in writing.
