Dacor ID24 Integrated Dishwasher Repair
Most common issues on this model
- A door that is out of balance with the custom panel
- A dishwasher that will not start
- Poor cleaning from clogged spray arms
- A leak at the door
The Dacor ID24 is a 24-inch integrated dishwasher that takes a custom panel on its door, so it blends in with the cabinets. A 30-inch version, the ID30, is in the same family. The ID24 is out of production, and it uses the same user information as the Epicure ED24.
With an integrated dishwasher, the panel decides how the door behaves. If the panel is heavier or lighter than the springs expect, the door will drop or bounce, so we start by checking the door balance. If the dishwasher will not start, we check the latch, the door switch and the control. Poor cleaning is often caused by clogged spray arms, which we remove and clear.
We treat the ID24 as a dishwasher that can usually be repaired when the problem is balance, a spray arm or a switch. The more complex repairs depend on parts, and parts are limited, so we check first. The label gives us the exact number. An estimate in writing comes before work, and a 30-day workmanship warranty covers the repair.

Error codes this model can show
Why does my integrated dishwasher door fall open?
The springs are set for a certain panel weight. A heavier custom panel, or a worn spring, can make the door fall. We adjust or replace the springs to suit your panel.
What causes poor cleaning on an older dishwasher?
Clogged spray arms and a dirty filter are the most common reasons. We remove, clean and test them, then start a cycle to check the spray.
Is the ID30 the same dishwasher?
The ID30 is the 30-inch sibling, so it is a different size. Parts do not always match between sizes, so we read the exact number from your label.
