Dacor DRF36C700 Dual Reveal Repair

Most common issues on this model

  1. FlexZone drawer temperature setting and sensor
  2. Reveal door gaskets
  3. Freezer ice buildup
  4. Triple Cooling fans and airflow

The DRF36C700 is a current 36-inch counter-depth French door refrigerator with 22.6 cubic feet of total capacity. It has Dual Reveal doors, a FlexZone middle drawer of 3.1 cubic feet and a Triple Cooling system, and it runs on a standard 115-volt, 10-amp circuit.

Two Reveal doors mean two sets of gaskets to keep tight, so a leak at either one is an early check when the freezer builds up ice. When the FlexZone drawer will not hold the temperature you set, we test the sensor and the airflow that feeds it. Triple Cooling depends on separate cooling paths, so we also look at the evaporator fans and defrost parts when one area is warmer than the others.

We copy the full model and serial number from the label before ordering any part. Call us or use the online form, and we will confirm a three-hour arrival window. A written price comes before work, and our repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.

DRF36C700DRF36C700 questions
The FlexZone drawer is not at the temperature I set. What is wrong?

Several things can cause it, so we test rather than guess. We check the drawer setting, its sensor and the airflow into the drawer, and compare it with the main compartments to see which part is off.

Why is ice building up in my freezer?

Ice usually comes from warm moist air getting in or from a defrost problem. On this model we inspect both Reveal door gaskets first, then the defrost parts and evaporator fans.

What power does the DRF36C700 need?

It is a 115-volt, 10-amp refrigerator. If the unit loses power or trips a breaker, we test the outlet and the cord connection before looking inside the cabinet.
