What C-22 means
The C-22 code shows up on the Dacor DOP30T940IS induction range and on the DOP48T960G gas range from the Transitional line. On the induction range, it means the sensor on the secondary control board reads open or shorted while the range is operating. On the gas range, the code points to the temperature sensor on the main control board. Either way, the range is reading a board temperature it cannot trust, and you see C-22 on the display.
Common causes of C-22

1. Turn the mode knob to Off, wait a moment and start the range again. 2. If C-22 comes back, turn off the circuit breaker that feeds the range, leave it off for at least 30 seconds and switch it on again. 3. If the code is still there, stop using the range and call us to schedule a visit.
