EWD30
Dacor EWD30 Epicure Warming Drawer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Heating
- Indicator light
- Drawer slides
- Finish version parts
The EWD30 is a 30-inch warming drawer from Dacor’s Epicure line, with a finish version sold as the EWD30SCH. The Epicure warming drawers also came in 24, 27 and 36 inches, so it matters that we confirm the width and number before ordering anything. The line is out of production, but many are still in use.
When one of these is not heating, we test the power, the control, the thermostat and the element in turn. If an indicator light has gone out, we find out whether it is only the light or a sign that the control is not getting power, since the two are not the same repair. A drawer that drags usually has worn slides.
We say plainly when an older drawer is better replaced than repaired, and we confirm part availability before we start. A written price comes first. We cover each repair with a 30-day workmanship warranty, and you can call us or fill out the online form to schedule service.

Error codes this model can show
The indicator light is out but the drawer still heats. Is it a problem?
It may be only the light, which is a small repair. We also check that the control is getting power, to be sure it is not a sign of something larger.
My drawer drags when I pull it. What can be done?
The slides are usually dry or worn. We clean and adjust them, or replace the slides if they are worn out and can be found.
Do the other Epicure widths use the same parts?
Some parts may be shared, but widths differ, so we confirm the number on the label for your drawer before we order any part, which avoids a wrong delivery.
