The Dacor MRV48 is a 48-inch downdraft vent for a range, with silver or graphite stainless finishes, available as the MRV48-ERS and MRV48-ERM. When lowered, it stores out of sight under the counter, and it operates from a 120V, 15A supply.
Forty-eight inches is a lot of vent to lift evenly. When one end rises before the other, or the vent hesitates, we look at how the lifting parts share the load and whether something is binding on one side. If the controls do not answer at all, we check the supply and test the control before moving on to the lift motor. For weak airflow across a wide cooktop, we examine the filters and the blower together.
