Why is my range hood so loud?
A loud hood can mean a loose blower wheel, a worn motor, dirty filters or a blocked duct. We check the blower and the duct first. Cleaning the filters is a safe step you can do yourself.
Can a hood fan lose power but still show lights?
Yes. The lights and the blower use separate circuits and switches. When the lights work but the fan does not, we test the motor, the capacitor and the control separately.
Do you repair older Dacor hoods?
Yes. We repair current and older Dacor hoods. Some older motors and controls are scarce, so we tell you what is available and whether a repair makes sense before you commit.
